The weeks are flying by. This week has been another productive week at the National Pest Technicians Association and we held several productive meetings to drive progress on key initiatives.
Discussions with Health & Safety providers focused on how we can enhance support for our members, while a follow-up on the qualification framework led to the presentation of an alternative proposal. The team is now reflecting on how this new approach could be implemented, with more updates to follow soon.
Our website continues to evolve, with new pages created and now in the backend phase, ready to be launched shortly. On the collaborative front, a face-to-face meeting with BASIS PROMPT allowed us to discuss opportunities for improving the services provided to National Pest Technicians Association members, deepening our partnership.
A meeting with the Chief Executive of Royal Society for Public Health sparked an insightful discussion about the future of the pest control industry, particularly around attracting new talent from colleges and schools—a critical focus for sustaining industry growth. We are keen to ensure these conversations continue as this could add real value to the future of the industry.
Meanwhile, (Shameless plug and reminder) with PestTech24 just around the corner, the team has been finalising preparations for what promises to be an exciting event.
