
We’re Hiring: Part-Time Administration Assistant
(Office-Based – Nottingham)
Location: NPTA House, Eastwood, Nottingham (within commuting distance)
Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible across 2–3 days)
Salary: £12.21 per hour (with a salary review after 3 months)
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking to join a supportive and professional team? We’re looking for a Part-Time Administration Assistant to join the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) at our Eastwood-based office in Nottingham.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of the NPTA office. You’ll work closely with our Training and Membership Coordinators to assist with general admin, support members, help organise events, and contribute to the success of the NPTA and its growing community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling general administrative tasks including answering member queries, updating databases, and managing invoices.
- Assisting with training course bookings, CPD records, and event planning.
- Supporting membership processes including new applications and renewals.
- Helping coordinate newsletters, event invites, and exhibitor communications.
- Occasionally attending meetings and taking minutes.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Desirable:
- Experience in a membership-based organisation or training admin.
- Familiarity with CRM/database systems.
- Previous involvement in event coordination.
